📋 Description

• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define business problems, strategic objectives, and high-level solution approaches for modernization • Develop and present business cases, analyses, and recommendations • Create and maintain strategic roadmaps with Enterprise Architecture, Product Strategy, and Portfolio Governance teams • Evaluate business processes using enterprise capability mapping, value stream analysis, and process decomposition • Facilitate strategic workshops, decision forums, and prioritization sessions with senior leadership • Shape scope, objectives, and success criteria for modernization initiatives • Align strategy, technology, modernization goals, and organizational priorities • Advise clients on functional and strategic improvements • Deliver recommendations, analyses, reports, briefings, procedures, presentations, and training materials to senior stakeholders • Analyze user needs and define, document, analyze, and validate functional requirements • Perform complex functional modeling, measurement, functional allocations, and requirements analysis • Direct functional testing of projects and systems • Research and recommend resources required for task execution • Develop new functionality or update existing functionality to meet client needs • Consult with clients to determine optimal project designs • Provide guidance, work leadership, and mentoring to less-experienced analysts • Serve as team or task lead without people-management responsibility • Advise clients, recommend functional changes, and identify areas for further investigation

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 8 years specialized in IT system functional analysis • Experience supporting cloud or large-scale modernization efforts preferred • Experience in strategic analysis, enterprise planning, or business consulting • Strong functional knowledge of modernization programs and complex, integrated IT systems • Strong analytical abilities in market research, financial analysis, modeling, and capability assessments • Expertise defining, documenting, and managing complex business rules • Experience with Agile tools and processes, including Jira • Ability to communicate complex strategy and functional concepts to senior stakeholders • Knowledge of enterprise business architecture, capability models, and portfolio management • BS degree in an IT-related field • No security clearance currently required • No U.S. citizenship required • Nice to have: Mainframe Business Process Re-engineering experience • Nice to have: zCloud and AWS/Azure Cloud Modernization experience • Familiarity with BPA tools and BPMN, CMN, and DMN modeling • Experience leveraging Generative AI for documenting requirements and business rules • Knowledge of DATACOM, DB2, Azure SQL, and PostgreSQL • Experience in Agile methodology for modernization initiatives • MBA or related advanced degree preferred • Prior portfolio governance or enterprise strategy experience preferred
