📋 Description

• Support sourcing activities across the commodity team • Prepare sourcing events and gather requirements • Evaluate suppliers and support supplier analyses • Prepare and issue RFQs • Organize documentation and track timelines • Support negotiations under guidance from senior team members • Maintain accurate records and follow procurement procedures • Help ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements • Coordinate communications and schedule meetings • Support early-stage supplier interactions and issue follow-ups • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows • Support updates to tools, templates, and best practices • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to deliver sourcing outcomes • Contribute to risk mitigation and disciplined execution of procurement activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 4+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree • 6+ months of procurement experience • US citizenship required • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand basic procurement needs and support sourcing activities to completion • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to track tasks, timelines, and documentation • Clear and professional communication skills • Comfort interacting with internal teams and suppliers • Proficiency in Excel and Word • Willingness to learn government procurement, terms negotiation, and source-to-pay systems • No clearance currently required • No certifications required
