📋 Description

• Manage core FP&A operating rhythms, including the multi-year plan, annual budget, periodic forecasts, income/cash flow pacing, and performance reporting • Define, monitor, and interpret financial and operational KPIs • Analyze results, investigate variances, identify emerging trends, and explain key drivers to internal management • Prepare management reporting and executive-ready analysis, including forecast packages, monthly operating review materials, and capital-related analysis • Partner with Controllership, Actuarial, Investments, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders on functional projects and data dependencies • Provide specialized accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A analysis for complex or ambiguous issues • Support financial analysis across long-term care, structured settlements, variable annuities, and other insurance portfolios • Lead or support process-improvement initiatives improving forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, controls, traceability, and decision support • Contribute to Finance Transformation and future-state FP&A design • Identify and apply artificial intelligence and Microsoft Copilot to improve forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, knowledge sharing, and decision support • Apply Power BI, business intelligence, data visualization, and advanced analytics to integrate data, automate reporting, enable drill-down analysis, and deliver insights • Communicate complex financial concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders • Help the team achieve service, quality, and timeliness objectives during close, forecast, planning, and executive reporting cycles • Coach and develop team members and reinforce collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field from an accredited university or college • Six or more years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, or a related discipline • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and financial modeling • Ability to analyze complex information, exercise sound judgment, and develop clear, supportable recommendations • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • GE Aerospace will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Employees may be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
