📋 Description

• Manage a team reviewing value-based providers’ financial performance, membership, cost and utilization trends, contractual results, and improvement opportunities • Lead financial preparation for provider engagement sessions before joint operating committee meetings • Advise the Network Performance team on contract performance and improvement opportunities • Lead analysis and reporting on value-based provider and contract performance • Analyze financial results, utilization, claims experience, membership, operational trends, risk adjustment impacts, medical cost drivers, and provider contract performance • Drive optimization of Medicare Advantage performance through data analytics and cross-functional collaboration • Support regional bid strategy, product positioning, and competitive analytics • Align with Corporate Finance on monthly value-based provider accruals and financial close • Establish cross-functional relationships to deliver recurring and ad hoc initiatives accurately and effectively • Serve as a strategic finance partner to regional leadership • Use independent judgment to address complex financial and operational issues with minimal supervision • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external provider partners • Monitor company initiatives and assess financial and operational impacts across the market • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 3 or more years of experience working with Value Based Contracts (VBC) and/or Value Based Providers (VBP) • 3 or more years of experience in financial analysis and reporting • Experience presenting to and advising senior leadership on financial strategies • Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting • Demonstrated experience leading and managing special projects that may require cross-functional partnerships • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts • Proficiency with PowerPoint, SQL, and PowerBI • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field • Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Preferred: People management and leadership experience • Preferred: Experience in Service Fund reporting • Preferred: Microsoft PowerQuery • Preferred: Power Automate • Preferred: Hyperion Essbase • Preferred: Experience with the Medicare Advantage bid process, including financial projections, product design, and competitive analysis • Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
