📋 Description

• Lead preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial information for Real Estate and Facility departments • Synthesize complex financial data, develop actionable insights, and deliver recommendations to senior leadership • Drive accountability through data, analytics, and performance measurement while balancing cost management, service quality, and asset preservation • Perform financial analysis and reporting and lead a team in doing so • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve financial systems, processes, and procedures • Lead the annual budget cycle for 600 facilities • Develop multi-year forecasts and perform monthly variance-to-budget analysis • Support capital planning and effective control environments • Partner with centralized Real Estate, decentralized Facility Management, business units, Sustainability, and Finance stakeholders in a matrixed organization • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve financial efficiency • Design, build, and maintain financial data models using tools such as Power BI, Power Pivot, SQL, and Python • Analyze building-by-building expense performance, identify cost outliers, and drive cost efficiency in facility operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree – Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Real Estate preferred • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting or financial management and analysis experience • Experience in Real Estate and/or Facility Management • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools • Experience supporting operational business functions in a complex, multi-site environment • Proven record of continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills • Minimum of three years in a supervisory (people manager) role • Experience using large-scale automated financial systems (Oracle), software packages including Hyperion, CFS Business Objects (Webi), MS Excel and Power Query, BI, and Pivot • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred • Experience supporting facility management, corporate real estate, healthcare facilities, manufacturing facilities, higher education, government, or large campus environments preferred • Experience with integrated workplace management systems (IWMS), computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and asset management programs preferred • Microsoft Power tools (BI, Query, Automate), SQL, Python, or similar data intelligence tools preferred • Knowledge of lease accounting standards and capital project accounting preferred • Financial management of facility portfolios, occupancy costs, and operational budgets preferred • Preventive and predictive maintenance program financial evaluation preferred • Development and monitoring of facility performance metrics, KPIs, and benchmarking preferred • Energy management, utility cost optimization, and sustainability-related financial analysis preferred • Facilities condition assessments and long-term capital investment planning preferred • Total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and return-on-investment (ROI) evaluations for facility investments preferred • Application of industry standards and best practices from organizations such as IFMA, BOMA, and CoreNet Global preferred
