📋 Description

• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on Anesthesia, Maternal Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology medical equipment • Service medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services • Maintain customer relationships • Communicate with customers promptly and resolve issues with proper follow-up • Adhere to company policies, procedures, hospital protocols, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards • Document all work performed, including parts orders

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, participation in the formal GE Healthcare Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Valid driver’s license • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Must pass GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test • Must comply with customer access policies, including required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable • Experience in Anesthesia, Maternal Infant Care and Diagnostic Cardiology is a plus • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex and extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Availability for after-hours work and/or rotating on-call schedules, including weekends
