📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries, including weekly payroll entries, and related supporting schedules • Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items • Execute banking transactions, perform daily cash and bank reconciliations, and prepare cash forecasts • Support cash application teams and assist with unapplied cash and daily cash reconciliations • Partner with FP&A and internal teams on accruals, reclasses, and other accounting entries • Analyze financial results, investigate period-over-period fluctuations, and prepare variance explanations for management • Support ERP system implementation, optimization, and testing • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation, technology, and data analytics • Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial reporting requirements • Maintain control documentation and execute controls • Assist with internal and external audit requests • Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting • 3–5 years of relevant accounting, audit, general ledger, or corporate accounting experience • Experience in public accounting or within a large, multi-branch organization with complex intercompany transactions and banking is a plus • CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP • Strong interest in leveraging technology, automation, and process improvement • Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate financial data and draw sound conclusions • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions
