📋 Description

• Provide technical sales leadership for defense-focused programs, primarily military base electrification projects and other defense opportunities • Support the sales project lifecycle from requirements definition and system architecture through proposal submission, design reviews, and customer engagement • Develop technical proposals for military base electrification projects involving generation, distribution, and control • Serve as the primary technical interface with defense customers and prime contractors • Translate customer operational needs into system-level technical solutions and specifications • Ensure solutions meet functional requirements, technical and environmental standards, and mission objectives • Support requirements flow-down, compliance activities, customer technical reviews, qualification processes, and configuration control • Coordinate with internal engineering, product management, and program teams • Manage priorities and workloads across multiple concurrent programs • Present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Travel up to 20% based on business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related technical discipline from an accredited institution • Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience, including application engineering, systems engineering, or power systems roles supporting complex technical programs • At least 3 years of experience writing technical proposals for electrical systems • Demonstrated experience working in defense, naval, or government-funded programs • Direct interaction experience with customers and program stakeholders • Strong technical background in electrical power systems, power electronics, or energy systems supporting military mission-critical applications • Experience developing technical proposals for military base electrification projects focused on generation, distribution, and control • Experience with requirements flow-down, compliance, and customer technical reviews • Ability to translate customer operational needs into system-level technical solutions and specifications • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to serve as the primary technical interface with defense customers and prime contractors • Working knowledge of relevant defense standards, qualification processes, and configuration control practices • Ability to manage priorities and workloads across multiple concurrent programs • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts clearly • U.S. Citizen • Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance • Ability to travel up to 20% based on business needs • Access to U.S. export-controlled information requires authorization from the U.S. Government, where applicable • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
