• Design, develop, and recommend benefits programs and enhancements aligned with corporate strategy and industry trends • Serve as plan owner and provide strategic direction for FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, long-term disability, parental leave, and other statutory or company-sponsored leave programs • Manage basic and voluntary life insurance programs, including enrollment, life event changes, and claims processing • Oversee supplemental insurance, discount programs, and other voluntary benefits for U.S. employees • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and HIPAA • Track plan performance, including cost, utilization, and benchmarking, and develop dashboards for leadership and stakeholders • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee and management benefits, leave, and policy inquiries • Develop and collaborate on benefits communications and education materials • Select, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, brokers, and consultants • Analyze program data and metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance employee experience • Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, People Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and other stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits management within a large, complex organization • Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred • Employer benefits consulting or insurance carrier subject matter experience helpful • Professional certifications such as CEBS or SHRM-CP/SCP highly desirable • Expert knowledge of federal and state leave and disability laws, regulations, and reporting requirements • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data and trends • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and benefits administration platforms • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
