📋 Description

• Manage customer requests involving pressure part materials, equipment upgrades and comprehensive power plant assessments • Conduct fuel conversions, emission reductions and heat rate improvement projects • Perform combustion and process computations to determine combustor and component performance • Evaluate heat transfer surface configurations, materials and boiler auxiliary equipment • Develop steam generator performance guarantees • Evaluate risk and support commissioning, tuning and performance testing • Create engineering selections and provide deliverables, collaboration and project-team support • Apply boiler design and operation expertise to execute business strategy • Present or review work in technical and program reviews • Document technical data according to engineering codes, design standards and procedures • Propose solutions to complex issues outside set parameters • Act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues • Lead small, low-risk projects and help team members reach consensus on boiler design topics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another engineering discipline • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs • Established project management skills • Knowledge of boiler design and operation • Ability to work cross-functionally • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Domestic travel to customer sites under 10%
