📋 Description

• Manage customer requests involving pressure part materials, equipment upgrades, and power plant assessments • Perform fuel conversion, emission reduction, and heat rate improvement studies • Conduct combustion and process computations to determine combustor and component performance • Evaluate heat transfer surface configurations, materials, and boiler auxiliary equipment • Develop steam generator performance guarantees • Evaluate project risks and support commissioning, tuning, and performance testing • Create engineering selections and deliverables meeting customer requirements • Collaborate with Project teams and provide technical support • Apply boiler design, operation, and power plant knowledge to execute business strategy • Participate as presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews • Document technical data according to engineering codes, design standards, and procedures • Propose solutions to complex issues outside set parameters • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues • Lead small, low-risk projects and build team consensus around boiler design topics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another engineering discipline • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Boiler design and operation knowledge • Analytical thinking and technical experience • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Willingness to travel domestically to customer sites less than 10%
