📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate New Product Introduction engineering development programs through all phases of the Gas Power product life cycle • Provide program management execution for assigned projects according to GE Gas Power Program Managers Standard Work procedure • Create and maintain internal and external project schedules • Validate resource assignments and manage spending according to plan • Guide internal and external execution teams through the NPI Development Process • Ensure adherence to engineering policies and procedures • Coordinate engineering sub-functions to deliver projects on time, completely, properly tested, and documented • Manage program risks and mitigations to avoid execution misses • Communicate program status and issues to engineering and commercial stakeholders • Provide spending status and projections to Business Operations and Quality teams • Maintain critical business metrics for quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of NPI deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science • Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering or program/project management of engineered systems • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interface with leadership with confidence and clarity • Knowledge of GE Power project tracking tools, processes, and practices • Engineering program graduate or advanced engineering degree • Prior experience in electronic hardware or software development • Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and customer service processes • Strong organizational/project execution skills • Prior success working with or leading cross-functional teams • Customer satisfaction mindset • Demonstrated leadership, team building, and communication skills • Highly motivated, energetic, confident, self-starting characteristics • Ability to influence through others and build support for ideas • Ability to identify opportunities and pursue appropriate changes with team input and support • Ability to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility when necessary • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
