📋 Description

• Execute project-specific tariff models using BOM, routing, Incoterms, destination requirements, and regulatory rules • Calculate tariff exposure and supporting calculations for duty-inclusive pricing, EAC, and change-order billing • Re-estimate duty impacts when project scope, country of origin, or regulations change • Update and communicate customs cost-to-go and EAC for project margin reviews • Submit customs cost components in CPM and maintain complete, traceable data • Prepare and maintain customs estimate backups for audits, margin reviews, and customer documentation requests • Identify duty mitigation strategies and collaborate with Customs for execution • Assess customs risks including delays, penalties, demurrage, licensing issues, and document gaps • Develop mitigation actions with Customs and Logistics teams • Support planning to protect contractual delivery dates and avoid liquidated damages • Provide customs input to change-order justifications, tariff recalculations, duty assessments, and documentation • Support Project Managers in customer meetings involving duty changes, classification decisions, and landed-cost implications • Provide documentation supporting duty recoverability and compliance • Ensure project-specific import documentation packages are available to third-party auditors • Maintain traceability and auditability of customs decisions • Provide customs input to margin reviews, compliance audits, and customer verifications • Develop preliminary customs strategies aligned with sourcing and logistics plans • Monitor duty-rate changes and assess impacts on shipments, cost exposure, and customer commitments • Collaborate with Customs Operations, Project Management, Commercial, Engineering, and Logistics teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field • Financial acumen and proficiency with cost estimation tools, project financial tracking, and forecasting processes such as EAC and cost-to-go • Strong analytical skills for accurate, defensible cost models and documentation packages • Professional experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, or Project Management, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry • Knowledge of import/export regulations, HTS classification, COO/FTA rules, and customs documentation • Experience interpreting technical BOMs and understanding how product configuration impacts cost • Ability to identify and mitigate customs-related risks while maintaining regulatory and customer compliance • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills • Experience in complex, multinational project environments with contractual delivery requirements preferred • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive timely execution • Role restricted to U.S. persons, including U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) • Must provide proof of U.S.-person status before employment • Transfers and sponsorships are excluded • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
