📋 Description

• Lead a global direct material commodity team • Serve as operations leader for the Blades Center of Excellence • Lead commodity leaders and standardize work across the blades team • Optimize GE Vernova's blade strategy and evaluate make-versus-buy decisions for total SQDC impact • Define and execute part of the multiyear global blade direct material strategy for internal blade factories • Lead negotiations with external blade suppliers • Own terms and conditions in supply agreements • Implement standard work aligned with the broader GEV WIND sourcing team's standard work • Manage Cost Handbook rollups, PPV and year-over-year metrics, and pipeline project alignment • Maintain the Bowler for the team • Align with internal blade factory leadership to support make-versus-buy decisions • Drive supplier and cross-functional cost-out projects to achieve annual budgets and year-over-year savings • Engage cross-functional participation in Kaizens and focused workouts addressing safety, quality, delivery, and cost • Partner with suppliers, internal factories, engineering, and materials teams to drive innovation, output, and supply flexibility • Manage cost-out programs involving engineering changes, material changes, and additional material sources • Maintain a supply base meeting quality and fulfillment requirements • Lead balanced scorecard and supplier improvement processes as needed • Lead others in developing creative solutions to complex organizational problems • Evaluate information quality and analyze conflicting data • Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource, risk, and complexity requirements • Present business solutions to functional-area leaders • Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally and with external partners, vendors, or customers • Influence peers to take action

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, college, or equivalent knowledge or experience • Significant experience in Supply Chain, Commodity Management, or Product Management • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, estimated at 20% • Strong oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Ability to work cross functionally to drive results • Sourcing and contract experience • Quality or production experience • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
