⢠Collaborate across GE Vernova Grid Software product portfolios deployed in field, edge, and customer IT/OT environments globally ⢠Partner with lead software architects in field, modeling and geospatial, data and analytics areas ⢠Drive architectural strategy and hands-on activities across GridOS Plan product lines ⢠Lead technical vision and strategy, planning, and execution of architectural best practices ⢠Design and evolve distributed cloud-native systems using micro-services, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and modern DevOps practices ⢠Shape UI architecture, including micro-front-ends, design systems, and performance optimization for workstation and mobile interfaces ⢠Architect data pipelines, data patterns, real-time streaming, and API-driven data services ⢠Translate business strategy into scalable technical roadmaps and architectural investments ⢠Establish SaaS patterns for tenant isolation, scalability, observability, and operational excellence ⢠Partner with engineering teams to embed AI/GenAI and intelligent automation ⢠Assess emerging cloud, AI, and platform capabilities ⢠Drive consistency through reference architectures, design patterns, and governance ⢠Lead architectural review processes and communication for GridOS Plan applications ⢠Formalize and standardize data models and API standards, leveraging CIM where appropriate ⢠Ensure architectures meet enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements ⢠Manage cross-team architectural dependencies and deliverables ⢠Establish standard practices with SteerCo and developer teams ⢠Mentor senior architects and engineers across multiple teams
⢠Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM major ⢠12+ years of software engineering experience ⢠At least 5 years in architectural leadership roles ⢠Expertise in large-scale production environments ⢠Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP and distributed systems ⢠Understanding of Kubernetes, including software development, API aggregation, custom resources, Helm, and manifest standardization ⢠Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and GitOps in IT/OT environments ⢠Proven experience designing SaaS applications at scale, including multi-tenant, global, and high-availability systems ⢠Mastery of micro-services, event-driven systems, API design, micro-front-ends, and DevOps automation ⢠Strong background designing secure, zero-trust system architectures ⢠Experience modernizing monolith applications into API-based micro-services ⢠Experience designing and delivering commercial applications on-premises and in the cloud ⢠Knowledge of mobile software architecture for field crew operations, offline support, and near real-time operation ⢠Strong understanding of data engineering, data modeling, streaming, and analytics platforms ⢠Understanding of data mesh and data fabric principles ⢠Expertise defining and implementing API standards and contract-based development models ⢠Strong background in AI/GenAI integration, including model and agent deployment, inference pipelines, and responsible AI patterns ⢠Experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions comprising multiple integrated applications ⢠Experience working directly with customer stakeholders at all levels ⢠Ability to influence at executive levels and drive cross-organizational alignment ⢠Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts ⢠Legally authorized to work in the United States ⢠Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable ⢠Familiarity with energy industry technologies and standards, SCADA, geospatial network modeling, NERC CIP, and IEC CIM is advantageous but not essential ⢠Experience with GIS, Field, Network Modeling, and Power Applications architecture and implementation is advantageous but not essential ⢠Experience with large-scale AI systems, vector databases, LLM orchestration, or retrieval-augmented generation is advantageous but not essential ⢠Background in enterprise integration patterns, domain-driven design, and platform engineering is advantageous but not essential
