📋 Description

• Lead quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations, across multiple projects • Develop Risk Management Plans • Drive identification, evaluation, treatment, and governance of project risks • Serve as expert and primary point of contact for the SAFRAN risk tool • Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk analysis across multiple projects • Lead risk and opportunity identification, deep dives, and mitigation actions throughout the project life cycle • Follow up on open risk mitigation actions and apply rigorous problem solving • Work independently and communicate across all organizational levels • Collaborate with Project Management, PMO, functional teams, and stakeholders to align and deliver risk management priorities • Lead daily risk management routines, operational risk reviews, risk reporting, and performance/trend tracking • Support leaders in resolving bottlenecks through structured problem solving • Benchmark internal and external risk management best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited university or college • Proficiency in industry-standard risk analysis tools involving Monte Carlo simulations, such as SAFRAN or equivalent • At least 6–8 years of relevant work experience • At least 3 years of risk management or project controls experience • Nuclear industry or power industry experience in project management, risk management, project controls, construction management, contracts management, or equivalent • Solid understanding of power project life cycles, project risk management principles, and relevant technical, financial, and contract terms • Ability to handle many complex issues/projects concurrently • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information, subject to U.S. Government authorization where applicable • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Desired: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Primavera, and risk management systems • Desired: Demonstrated leadership in a matrix environment • Desired: Project/construction management or project controls experience in the power industry • Desired: Technical knowledge of commercial nuclear reactors and associated systems • Desired: Exceptional oral and written communication skills • Desired: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
