📋 Description

• Serve as the first and primary customer contact for assigned projects • Lead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution • Manage and align customers, partners, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders • Own end-to-end execution of mega, complex, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined-cycle projects • Develop early execution strategies with the ITO Commercial Manager • Coordinate contract reviews for alignment on requirements, scope, and obligations • Manage project execution using Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost principles • Maintain full P&L accountability for revenue, contribution margin, and cash • Drive accountability for key project performance metrics • Align teams on cost, schedule, performance, and risk trade-offs • Develop and manage risk and opportunity registers with mitigation actions • Promote and drive GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit across project teams, partners, and subcontractors • Support risk-based decision-making using internal and external inputs • Develop project execution and/or technical subject-matter expertise • Drive best practices to improve products, processes, and services • Lead creative solutions in complex manufacturing, engineering, and production environments • Apply advanced operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interdependent workstreams • Resolve cross-functional issues and execution constraints with partner functions • Lead project teams and resources with moderate to high complexity, risk, and scale • Support Functional Project Managers with escalations • Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership • Influence without authority in a matrix organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university • Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments • Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Certified Project Management Professional (desired) • Graduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership Program (desired) • Experience and demonstrated understanding of large capital project execution costs and estimates • Ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently • Strong customer focus and ability to foster strong relationships • Experience working with and influencing senior-level leaders • Strategic thinking, problem solving, business and financial acumen • Strong oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to communicate complex messages succinctly • Inclusive style and strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and interface effectively at all organizational levels • Experience applying data and lean tools and technologies for strategic, operational, and project efficiencies
