đź“‹ Description

• Deliver projects on time while maintaining profit and loss accountability and customer satisfaction • Support Product Development and Sales during the pre-award phase by creating scopes, schedules, and budgets • Develop project revenue and cost budgets and use them as cost-performance baselines • Manage all commercial aspects of the project portfolio and financial metrics • Organize project cost structures in Oracle ERP • Conduct customer work-release reviews against GEH estimates • Lead customer, internal, and supplier project kickoff meetings • Establish the overall project management strategy and coordinate with project management functions and supplier PMO • Develop and issue the Project Management Plan, related project plans, and procedures • Improve project management processes and procedures • Lead development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools • Ensure compliance with U.S. government requirements • Identify project resource demands and coordinate resource supply within a matrix organization • Coordinate project activities and monitor deliverables and schedule performance • Ensure deliverables conform to contract and project requirements • Coordinate and chair regular project meetings and prepare supporting materials • Develop and manage integrated project schedules with key suppliers, including the Management Control Schedule • Use schedule-system reports and P6 ERP workforce-planning tools to evaluate performance • Prepare, review, issue, and archive project correspondence and records • Draft and issue meeting notes, action-item lists, and project progress reports • Provide production oversight of key suppliers • Lead risk assessment, risk management, and project controls processes • Assemble invoicing in accordance with contract terms and government requirements • Provide inputs and reviews to U.S. Government Accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university • Minimum 10 years of project management experience on large power EPC projects • Minimum 5 years of power plant design experience • Minimum 5 years of nuclear industry experience • Ability to travel to customer sites in Canada up to 25% of the time • Ability to obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Master's Degree in Engineering or Master of Business Administration preferred • PMP certification preferred • U.S. government contract management experience, including working knowledge of FAR • Experience or familiarity with BWR and SFR designs • Scheduling software experience, including Project, P3, or P6 • Project Management Leadership Program knowledge • Knowledge of the power industry, customers, and competitive environment • Power plant construction experience • Experience meeting project budget, schedule, and quality targets • Contract management and claims experience • Cost estimating experience • Financial control knowledge and understanding • Past supervisory experience • Professional interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to take initiative and work independently • Ability to influence others and lead small teams • Ability to oversee initiatives of substantial scope and impact • Ability to manage multiple project responsibilities concurrently • Extreme attention to detail and strong organization • Ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Strong process orientation • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Six Sigma training preferred for GE employees only
