📋 Description

• Serve as the first and primary customer contact for assigned projects • Lead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, contractors, and vendors • Own end-to-end execution of mega, complex, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined cycle projects • Develop early execution strategies and transition projects into execution • Coordinate contract reviews for alignment on requirements, scope, and obligations • Manage execution using Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities • Own project P&L, including revenue, contribution margin, and cash • Manage project performance metrics and trade-offs among cost, schedule, performance, and risk • Develop and manage risk and opportunity registers with mitigation actions • Promote GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit across project teams, partners, and subcontractors • Make risk-based decisions using internal and external inputs • Serve as a subject matter expert in project execution and/or a technical discipline • Drive best practices to improve products, processes, or services • Lead creative problem solving in manufacturing, engineering, and production environments • Apply operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interdependent workstreams • Resolve cross-functional issues and execution constraints with partnering functions • Provide direct or indirect leadership of project teams and resources • Support Functional Project Managers with escalations • Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership • Influence execution in a matrix organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university • Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Experience and demonstrated understanding of large capital project execution costs and estimates • Certified Project Management Professional is desired • Graduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership Program is desired • Ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently • Strong customer focus and ability to foster strong relationships • Experience working with and influencing senior-level leaders • Strategic thinking, problem solving, business, and financial acumen • Strong oral and written communication skills • Presentation skills and ability to communicate complex messages succinctly • Inclusive interpersonal and leadership skills for matrix organizations • Ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels • Experience applying data and lean tools and technologies for strategic opportunities
