📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of Medicaid implementation projects from initiation through completion, on time and within budget • Focus on the business side of State Medicaid implementations, with limited IT implementation scope • Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects using cross-functional teams • Manage the full project life cycle, including requirements assessment, project planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, execution, deployment, and closure • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, issue lists, project plans, and risk management plans • Communicate project status to stakeholders and external agencies • Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks • Coordinate cross-functional meetings and align stakeholder expectations with company objectives • Monitor project deliverables for quality, including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation • Provide on-site leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members and managing milestones • Report on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to leadership • Define Statements of Work and specifications for Medicaid contracts/RFPs • Set and manage project and program expectations while delegating deliverables • Deliver executive-level communications • Ensure projects and programs meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards • Manage project and program risks and issues to mitigate impacts to the baseline

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or 5 years of relevant work experience • 5+ years of formal project management experience working with large-size initiatives • 2+ years of experience in change management • 3+ years working in a managed care healthcare system or health plan • Experience working in Medicaid and/or Medicare • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a matrixed environment • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile development methodologies • Experience in business operations or consulting services in a health plan • Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs • Experience with Smartsheet • Prosci, Six Sigma, and/or Project Management Institute certifications preferred • Ability to work Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
