📋 Description

• Perform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management • Manage projects involving design engineering, licensing, equipment procurement, and development of new product offerings • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policies • Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and report progress to stakeholders • Negotiate contract terms and manage change orders for scope changes or non-standard events • Mentor and guide junior project managers • Develop specialized nuclear energy knowledge and stay current on technical developments • Use technical expertise for data analysis supporting project decisions and recommendations • Coordinate with internal functions, vendors, customers, and Product Line Leaders to scope and execute deliverables • Serve as primary contact for specific service contracts • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management • Equivalent experience/education in the nuclear industry may be considered, such as Senior Reactor Operator with 5 years of project management experience • Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects in heavily regulated industries such as oil & gas, energy, aerospace, and medical device • PMP Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months • Demonstrated experience in the nuclear industry, with a solid understanding of nuclear project requirements • Extensive experience in the nuclear power industry • Proven track record managing complex projects with a focus on instrumentation and controls • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in complex situations • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25+% domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
