📋 Description

• Perform customer order review and compare with the GE quote upon transfer of the project file from the Commercial group to Project Management • Lead internal project kick-off meetings and assign roles and responsibilities • Lead customer kick-off meetings to communicate the nature of the work and clarify order issues • Coordinate all project-related activities • Track project spend against budget, including cost, materials, and labor • Lead and draft internal and external project follow-up meeting summaries • Follow up on project derogations • Perform invoicing according to contract terms • Follow up with the GE procurement department on supplier deliveries • Communicate project progress to customers regularly • Produce project post-mortem analysis reports • Perform administrative project closing • Manage long-term service projects • Close out project deficiencies and punch-list items • Manage warranty and all after-sales services • Oversee non-turnkey and product/equipment-only projects • Provide direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources • Apply technical experience and expertise for data analysis and recommendations • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience • Maintain customer relations and satisfaction • Maintain project profit and loss accountability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree required, preferred specialization in electrical, mechanical or a related engineering discipline • Minimum 10 years of work experience, with proven project management experience relevant to the role • 25% - 30% travel local and international based on the business needs • Proficiency Spoken & Written - English • SAP, Salesforce and MS Project preferred • Proficiency Spoken & Written - French preferred • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Team player & good communication skills • Customer oriented • Pragmatic, results and quality oriented • EHS focused • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
