📋 Description

• Deliver steam turbine projects in execution for Own Fleet Capital Parts and complex Upgrades, Engineering Studies, and valve solutions • Manage and lead complete project engineering teams, including engineering subcontractors and internal and external interfaces • Provide required engineering documentation on schedule, with required quality, minimal changes, and within budget targets • Support project setup with Engineering functions, Workshops, Supply Chain, and Field Service • Define deliverables, interfaces, timelines, and the Baseline Plan • Manage prioritization and escalate issues as required • Apply Propolis tools and OneEngineering processes to manage Engineering tasks and ensure on-time delivery within project budget • Follow global standards and common processes to ensure consistent quality • Ensure compliance and product safety for supplied components according to GE Vernova’s SQDC • Organize and lead Design Reviews during project execution • Drive innovation and support lean methodology improvements • Report to the Global Steam Turbine Requisition Engineering Manager within the New Services Engineering organization • Support industrial and nuclear steam turbines in the Americas and the global installed fossil fleet

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field from an accredited college or university • At least 5+ years of combined experience in mechanical engineering of turbomachinery or power plant components, technical field services, repairs, plant operations services, or a related technical function • At least 5 years of experience in project execution activities ranging from typical transactional service business to complex upgrades • Willingness to travel regionally or globally up to 20% of the time • Proven competence and experience in customer negotiation and execution activities • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions in a matrix environment • Integrity, compliance, and safety leadership • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including multi-location and multi-cultural experience • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and with external customers/suppliers • Practical problem-solving mindset and good judgment on when to escalate
