📋 Description

• Maintain and perform mechanical technical services for Steam Turbine and Generator systems at utility and industrial power plants • Provide on-site technical direction on Steam Turbine and Generator systems • Review and maintain execution according to equipment engineering documents and work procedures • Troubleshoot plant equipment and systems • Perform mechanical work on Steam Turbines, Generators, and Valves safely, with high quality and on time • Plan, coordinate, and perform disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of turbine, valve, and generator parts • Work with team members, contractors, and customers to support site and outage activities • Support pre-outage planning and post-outage closeout, including outage documents, reports, and required records • Contribute to customer satisfaction through reliable field service and alignment with business goals • Proactively support GE Vernova's vision and organizational core values

🎯 Requirements

• Technical or university degree, relevant qualifying experience, or High School Diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in a Field Services role • At least 2 years of experience in the power industry, including utility, industrial, hydro, oil and gas, turbine generator maintenance, or equipment installation • Good working knowledge of Steam Turbine, Valve, and Generator mechanical systems and components • Practical experience dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling mechanical equipment during outages or maintenance activities • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, P&IDs, and schematic diagrams • Good teamwork and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders • Strong documentation and report-writing skills • English proficiency required • Ability to work independently while coordinating with project and site teams • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence • Ability to work under outage schedules and time-sensitive site conditions • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple site activities effectively
