📋 Description

• Perform basic scheduled and preventative maintenance activities on offshore wind turbines • Assist experienced technicians with assigned maintenance activities • Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic tasks according to approved procedures and work instructions • Assist with component replacements, adjustments, and general turbine maintenance • Safely use hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and other service equipment • Follow lockout/tagout, energy isolation, and established safety procedures • Work safely at heights and in confined spaces inside wind turbine structures • Participate in offshore transfers between vessels and turbine structures • Maintain tools, equipment, PPE, and work areas • Complete maintenance documentation, checklists, timesheets, and required records • Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, job hazard analyses, and pre-task planning • Follow customer, site, vessel, and GEV Wind Power policies and procedures • Report safety concerns, hazards, incidents, equipment damage, and quality issues • Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, vessel crews, customers, and project personnel • Perform additional duties supporting offshore service operations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ months of experience in wind turbine service and maintenance • Basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and torque/tensioning equipment • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures • Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical procedures, and safety documentation • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Ability and willingness to work in an offshore environment and travel 100% • Comfortable working aboard vessels and in offshore environments • Ability to safely transfer between vessels and offshore wind turbine structures • Physically capable of climbing wind turbine towers and ladders while wearing PPE and carrying necessary equipment • Valid and current driving license with a satisfactory driving record • Must be 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle • Must be able to proficiently read, write and speak English • Satisfactory criminal background check • Candidates must be available to start as early as August 24, 2026, for required New Hire Orientation • Ability to travel by commercial airline to project sites throughout North America • Able and willing to work offshore for extended periods according to project-specific rotations • Able to travel 100% on an 8/1 rotation throughout the year • Able to meet physical demands including climbing turbines up to 125m+ (400+ feet), lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, and repetitive tool use • Comfortable working at heights up to 400 feet • Commitment to company and client Safety, Quality and Performance policies and procedures • Optional/plus certifications include GWO BST Offshore, GWO BTT, GWO ART Hub & Nacelle, Crane/Chain Hoist/Rigging Safety Training, Offshore Step Medical, XBR Shoulder Width Measurements, Chester Step, OSHA 10 General Industry, and NFPA 70E Arc-Flash Awareness
