📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact for gift data inquiries from Development, Finance, and program teams • Respond to ad hoc requests for records, reports, and reconciliation details • Triage and prioritize competing stakeholder requests, communicate timelines, and flag delays • Partner with Development Operations to identify recurring pain points and build lightweight processes • Enter donor gifts into Salesforce weekly, including checks, ACH transactions, and non-cash gifts • Process and enter third-party fundraiser gifts monthly • Follow gift-entry SOPs and surface process gaps to the Director of Development Operations • Review data quality reports and resolve discrepancies • Process electronic and postal gift acknowledgments, including during high-volume year-end periods • Maintain and update acknowledgment templates • Coordinate special acknowledgments for major donors or campaigns • Support bulk data imports and updates • Support gift reconciliation between Salesforce and financial accounting systems • Run standard Salesforce reports and assist colleagues in interpreting outputs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience providing service-oriented support to fundraising or other data-driven teams • Systems-oriented thinker able to recommend solutions and resolve issues • Demonstrated experience with data entry in Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform, preferably in a nonprofit environment • Strong attention to detail and high degree of organization • Clear and proactive written and verbal communication style • Ability to manage multiple concurrent, competing requests and prioritize effectively • Ability to perform self-directed work while remaining responsive to the team • Availability to support year-end fundraising activity, potentially up to 29 hours per work week during December and early January • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising operations and donor management preferred • Experience with third-party fundraising platforms and/or Apsona preferred • Prior experience in internal operations support involving shared inboxes, ticketing queues, or high-volume internal request management preferred • Commitment to a respectful, supportive, fair, and welcoming work environment • Comfort working remotely in a collaborative, caring, and high-performing culture • Strong support for GFI’s mission and demonstrated interest in alternative proteins, public health, environmentalism, climate change, animal protection, or hunger relief • Commitment to GFI’s values • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States • GFI does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
