• Own the AI platform strategy and roadmap for agent infrastructure built on Gigawatt’s common data fabric • Turn the data fabric into agent-ready context through retrieval, grounding, and permissioned access to utility data • Define and build both the code-first SDK experience and no-code builder for utility subject-matter experts • Make build-versus-buy decisions across AI tooling, including LangSmith, Arize, and open standards • Build agent orchestration, retrieval, tool and action APIs, evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and observability • Ship MVPs with utility design partners and iterate on customer friction and edge cases • Own developer and builder experience, including API and SDK design, documentation, sandboxes, templates, onboarding, and production deployment • Define agent evaluation using golden sets, regression suites, online evaluations, traces, and audit records • Design human-in-the-loop workflows covering autonomy, approvals, state, interrupts, replay, and escalation • Own trust, tenancy, governance, explainability, auditability, retention, access controls, and safe autonomy • Define versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation policy, SLAs, support model, packaging, and pricing input • Partner with engineering, design, security, data engineering, and utility customers to release production-ready capabilities • Define use cases and technical requirements, collaborate on data model and API design, and conduct product testing • Set and manage KPIs including production agents, time-to-first-agent, no-code adoption, evaluation pass rates, task success, escalations, latency, cost, and support burden • Report to the SVP of Product
• 8+ years in product management • 2+ years on AI or ML systems • Significant experience on a platform or product that customers outside your own company built on top of • Experience shipping APIs, SDKs, or an application builder used by customers in production • Experience with versioning and deprecation, support escalations, security questionnaires, and external product commitments • Working fluency in LLMs, retrieval, tool use, guardrails, and associated cost, latency, and reliability tradeoffs • Experience designing evaluation sets and shipping against a quality bar • Ability to read and diagnose traces across retrieval, prompts, tool schemas, and models • Ability to participate in architecture reviews and write technical specifications • Experience shipping software into regulated, multi-tenant environments audited by external parties • Point of view on tenant isolation, explainability, data lineage, retention, and least-privilege access • Experience with low-code, configuration-driven, or builder-style products is nice to have • Familiarity with LangGraph or LangChain is nice to have • Experience with AWS Bedrock is nice to have • Comfort reasoning about data models, enterprise source-system integration, and streaming versus batch is nice to have • Utility or energy sector exposure, or prior software engineering, ML, or data engineering background is nice to have • Experience with Jira, Figma, and standard product management tools • Remote work prioritizing central and eastern timezones, ideally Chicago, Austin, or Nashville
