📋 Description

• Conduct outbound and receive inbound calls to determine the proper action for each. • Record information and maintain department procedures and policies. • Assist policyholders as needed. • Make outbound calls to newly issued business to welcome customers, ensure policies are accurate, and provide additional information about new policies. • Navigate the CRM while speaking with recently approved customers to collect the first premium and activate life insurance policies. • Make outbound calls to internet-generated leads to warm up potential customers for the Sales Team. • Explain policy benefits. • Complete necessary paperwork. • Assist with correspondence and error corrections for policy service. • Execute outbound-call special projects and campaigns for sister companies including AIL and LNL, and record requested customer activities.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent. • Some college preferred. • 1+ years of customer service or 1+ years of a professional environment in a customer service-related atmosphere. • Licensed in Life, Accident, and Health Insurance is preferred, but not required. • 1+ years of office experience preferred. • Telecommunications experience is a plus. • Background in life and health insurance, and knowledge of insurance operations is desired. • Customer service background and good phone skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Excellent organization skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Comfortable collecting payments via Credit Card and Bank Draft payment options. • Excellent alpha and number recognition skills. • Demonstrated mathematical abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism. • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions. • Excellent attendance and punctuality. • Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word and Outlook. • Able to multifunction from many different sources. • Customer-friendly. • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift. • Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications.
