📋 Description

• Answer incoming phone calls and convert leads into depositing passengers on travel products • Greet direct-customer calls and educate, consult, and help transform travel dreams into vacation realities • Handle assigned leads and manage follow-up with guests • Participate in assigned campaigns and lead campaigns • Reach and exceed sales objectives by selling travel packages and product upsells • Handle inbound calls and emails using Globus sales protocols • Maintain customer satisfaction by providing accurate, timely, and quality product information • Answer customer inquiries using knowledge of product differences, mail campaigns, destinations, and travel products • Cultivate ongoing customer relationships and influence product loyalty • Take leads through an assumptive close to a deposit • Develop business relationships and cooperate with GVI departments to serve customers • Receive 145+ incoming calls and create happy guests • Engage with customers via phone and email • Follow up regularly with existing customers by phone or email • Meet monthly sales goals and KPIs while maintaining call-handling expectations • Attend regular training • Meet regularly with the Supervisor to discuss metrics and performance • Participate in weekly team meetings and Teams chats • Work rotating Saturdays, with a compensating day off during that week • Work overtime as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located and authorized to work in the USA or Canada • 1 year of call center inbound sales experience • Minimum of 1 year in a sales or similar role • Ability to handle up to 145 inbound calls per month on average and emails using Globus sales protocols • Excellent computer skills • Experience navigating multiple computer programs throughout the day • Experience with Excel, RingCentral, Outlook, intranet, web-based systems, and company-specific systems • Excellent organizational skills • Friendly demeanor and ability to connect with customers • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and quality product information for customers • Knowledge of product differences, mail campaigns, product knowledge, and destination expertise • Understanding of assumptive close and taking a lead to a deposit • Ability to develop business relationships and cooperate with GVI departments • Travel industry experience preferred • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred • Six months to one year of related inbound sales and travel industry experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Rotating Saturdays required • Overtime as needed
