📋 Description

• Build a sustainable base of business meeting or exceeding revenue and order intake objectives for assigned accounts and territory • Drive mid-market growth with full sales lifecycle ownership and pipeline conversion • Lead new business growth across the banking industry, including banks and credit unions • Create new leads, qualify leads, develop opportunities, create value, present solutions, and close new business • Maintain and grow business relationships initiated with new customers • Make heavy outbound calls to prospects and customers to drive larger deals and new opportunities • Develop, realize, and maintain incremental revenue by selling and advocating GGS products and services within the territory and assigned accounts • Use CRM software to document sales activity, manage the sales pipeline, and facilitate closure of key opportunities • Maintain relationships with multiple client contacts and use internal resources to ensure smooth delivery and payment • Process sales order paperwork promptly • Resolve customer conflicts quickly • Travel within the geographic territory as required • Travel to and attend trade shows and internal sales meetings when required • Maintain a consultative or solutions-oriented selling style • Report to the RVP, Financial Markets

🎯 Requirements

• BA or BS preferred • 7+ years solution-based sales experience preferred • Sales experience for non-commoditized solutions ideally • Sales experience within the banking sector a plus • Demonstrated success identifying and reaching decision makers to drive sale results • Organized, motivated, and able to follow a structured sales process and develop and execute a sales plan • Ability to provide a solution-based selling approach to senior-level executives • Strong account management, closing, and win-win negotiating skills • Exceptional business writing and communication skills • Ability to create, modify, and deliver PowerPoint presentations across all levels • Ability to effectively use Excel and other Microsoft applications • Experience designing and negotiating sales proposals involving pricing calculations to reach gross profit targets • Continuously develops sales leads • Uses standard discovery questions to qualify prospects • Makes persuasive presentations • Advocates for customers to drive results • Adapts sales approach to buyer motivations • Ideal candidate will live in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina and reside within 60 minutes of a major airport
