📋 Description

• Drive execution of Beacon Mobility’s enterprise EHS strategy across transportation operations • Establish and leverage relationships with Operations, Fleet Maintenance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Legal, and senior leadership • Serve as senior subject matter expert for occupational safety, driver safety, crisis response, and regulatory affairs • Execute and improve enterprise EHS strategy aligned with business priorities, growth, and operational goals • Lead directors to drive safety expectations, scalable processes, and continual improvement • Advise operations leadership and the executive team on safety, health, and risk • Partner with safety, operations, and people leaders to achieve measurable injury improvements • Drive reductions in vehicle incidents and workers’ compensation claims • Use analysis models to drive corrective action and verify sustained improvements • Support federal, state, and local environmental compliance • Oversee OSHA-related programs and injury-risk programs • Partner on electrification, emissions reduction, and environmentally responsible practices • Lead response to serious collisions, injuries, environmental events, and other significant incidents • Ensure escalation, investigation, reporting, communication, and corrective action • Maintain emergency preparedness, response protocols, and business continuity coordination • Support safety onboarding, required certifications, recurrent training, and field coaching • Promote employee engagement, behavioral safety, recognition, and shared accountability • Equip leaders to communicate and reinforce safety expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental management, engineering, industrial hygiene, risk management, business administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered • 12 or more years of progressive EHS, safety, risk, or operational leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility in a complex, multi-site organization • Proven success leading safety transformation, regulatory compliance, incident reduction, and culture change across geographically dispersed operations • Strong working knowledge of transportation safety, occupational safety, environmental compliance, fleet risk, and crisis management • Executive communication skills with the ability to influence operators, functional leaders, senior executives, regulators, and external partners • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred • CSP, CIH, CHMM, ASP, or comparable credential preferred • OSHA 30-hour General Industry training and advanced incident investigation training preferred
