📋 Description

• Own the endorsements process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness. • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations. • Leverage AI tools, including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI ChatGPT, to create effective prompts, streamline workflows, and support data analysis, reporting, and operational decision-making across fintech and finance functions. • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and posting. • Perform account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. • Support cash management, accruals, invoicing, and cost allocations as part of core accounting functions. • Support the audit process by gathering required documentation, preparing audit schedules, and responding to auditor requests. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA or other relevant certification preferred • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred. • 8+ years of experience in accounting. • Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles. • Experience working with US and International companies. • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI ChatGPT. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. • Experience with Sage Intaact, NetSuite, including report writing and system navigation. • Familiarity with close management tools (e.g., FloQast) and expense platforms (e.g., Ramp) is a plus. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. • Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation is a strong plus. • Self-starter who is proactive, takes initiative, and follows through on tasks in a timely manner. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and a natural curiosity for systems and technology. • Excellent organization and time management skills.
