📋 Description

• Lead data systems architecture and integration efforts • Supervise and manage data projects and supporting staff • Oversee data projects using an iterative, flexible, collaborative approach incorporating user feedback • Design, develop, and oversee maintenance of grants databases, reports, and process-improvement tools • Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations between HSES, AMS, GrantSolutions, TTA Hub, and contract tools • Build APIs and data transformation and automation processes • Test systems, lead test scenarios, and identify, document, and remediate issues • Create data governance models and metadata management systems for data from Excel, Smartsheet, SQL, Power BI, and other sources • Establish and track progress and successful delivery measures • Track and improve OHS Smartsheet grant administration workflows and tasks • Design tools, automated notifications, and management information reports to support data-informed decisions • Maintain documentation for handoff and knowledge transfer • Coordinate across the team to ensure high-quality, current work products • Provide supervision, task direction, and support to data staff • Coach team members and address team member and client complaints and problems • Attend weekly contract management and daily stand-up meetings as needed • Contribute to client progress and status reports, including monthly reports and weekly registration metrics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field required • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience directly related to the duties • Minimum 3 years of progressive supervisory experience • Advanced proficiency integrating web-based and commercial off-the-shelf data management software, including Smartsheet, SQL, Python, API development, AWS, Azure, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience developing, implementing, and managing or improving complex, high-profile, multi-faceted data projects • Proficiency in database design, ETL processes, and data warehousing • Knowledge of data governance and security • Ability to coach team members effectively • Clear oral and written communication skills • Ability to address team member and client complaints and resolve problems • Ability to pass background investigations required for access to federal facilities and systems • Position requires Public Trust clearance • At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education and/or Head Start programs highly preferred • Ability to work 40–60 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with possible work outside typical hours
