📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day repair and maintenance of retail store facilities, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and fixtures • Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and to company standards • Coordinate routine and proactive maintenance schedules • Manage and supervise external contractors and service providers • Perform store inspections to identify maintenance needs • Manage planned and responsive repair and maintenance spending • Negotiate contracts and maintain third-party service provider relationships • Monitor expenses and track repair and maintenance costs • Communicate high-value projects for approval and vet project scopes • Ensure warranty work is routed to correct vendors and credit processes are communicated cross-functionally • Support vendor and store communications ticketing system and SLA adherence • Report on trends and opportunities to find cost efficiencies • Partner with Repairs & Maintenance and Retail Development teams on efficiency plans • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ADA compliance, building codes, and company standards • Provide standards training, guidance, and feedback to store teams • Lead and participate in Laguna U sessions as required • Ensure store teams have necessary tools and resources • Prevent equipment failures and maintain safe, clean customer environments • Respond promptly to urgent repair requests • Foster excellence in service delivery and positive shopping experiences

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required • Associate’s degree or higher in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred • Experience in facilities maintenance, repair management, or retail operations • Experience in retail environments with multi-location operations preferred • Previous experience managing a team, including contractors, vendors, and technicians • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and managing maintenance projects • Strong leadership and team management abilities • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with store managers, staff, and external vendors • Proficient in Google Suite and facilities management software(s) • May require occasional evening or weekend work • Ability to travel between multiple retail locations may be necessary
