📋 Description

• Manage EMR/referral portals according to Referral Acceptance Guidelines • Provide prompt responses to referral requests • Apply knowledge and critical thinking when accepting referrals • Communicate professionally and appreciatively with referral sources • Explain the agency’s services confidently • Conduct patient insurance pre-checks as required • Escalate referrals requiring clinical approval to the appropriate operations leader • Attach and scan referral packets and insurance pre-check documentation into intake • Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate a seamless transition in care for referral sources and patients

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in managing EMR portals and following acceptance guidelines • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively • Detail-oriented with effective communication skills • Good and sound judgment • Accurate and appropriate documentation skills • Patience, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude • Excellent customer service skills • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred • Accurate data entry skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and Home Care Home Base software • Associate’s degree preferred • At least one year of experience in home health preferred • At least one year of experience in a customer service capacity • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen • Legally authorized to work in the United States
