📋 Description

• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction using innovative teaching methods and current industry technologies • Maintain compliance with accreditation standards • Model the holistic tenets of the nursing profession and uphold the University’s mission and pillars • Facilitate meaningful classroom discussions, assess student learning, and prepare students for leadership roles in health care • Support program initiatives and demonstrate alignment with the philosophy and direction of the University • Provide a positive example by supporting GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission

🎯 Requirements

• Preferred: Doctorate in Nursing (DNP/PhD) or Doctorate in a health-related discipline. • Required: Master’s in Nursing or Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO) or Pharmacology Doctorate (PharmD) or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. • Graduate degree must be from an accredited university. • Nurses must maintain an active, current, unrestricted and unencumbered AZ or Multi-state RN license and unencumbered APRN certificate. • Current board certification required in area of practice AND 2 years professional experience. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with students. • Proficiency in English, grammar, and APA writing. • Commitment to modeling GCU’s mission and values.
