📋 Description

• Develop and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions • Conceptualize solutions during the project design phase • Program, debug, and test systems • Create project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other documentation • Commission new solutions at client sites and identify improvement opportunities • Create methodologies and solve complex problems • Learn new technologies • Mentor colleagues in areas of expertise • Use PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, networking, database, and vision-system tools • Partner with clients to solve manufacturing and industrial information problems

🎯 Requirements

• Successful or upcoming completion of B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree • At least 5–7 years of working experience with some or all listed technologies • Experience preferably in food and beverage and life sciences industries • Experience with PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, networking, databases, and/or vision systems • Meticulous, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-starter individual who is a quick learner • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Valid Driver’s License • Full-time access to a personal vehicle • Willingness to travel up to 30–50% within the USA • Experience with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus is preferred but not necessary • Experience with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is a plus
