📋 Description

• Participate as a member of the healthcare survey team to ensure provider compliance with DNV guidelines, principles, and written instructions • Independently survey healthcare organizations throughout the United States • Analyze and assess healthcare organizations’ compliance with applicable standards and ISO principles • Prepare management reports linked to standard nonconformities, potential system vulnerabilities, and organizational risk points • Communicate and engage with healthcare organization staff about standards-based issues • Assess compliance and identify opportunities to improve compliance • Supervise, guide, and/or train other survey team members where applicable • Attend scheduled educational calls • Complete required ongoing training and educational requirements • Participate in other DNV activities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Minimum five (5) years of experience within the healthcare environment or related field such as Safety, NFPA/Life Safety, OSHA, etc. • Excellent customer service skills • Working efficiency in MS Office, including creating accurate and timely reports • Ethical standards • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites up to 100% of the time, including mostly overnight stays and U.S. travel often outside normal working hours and occasional weekends • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to speak comfortably in public • Critical thinking, interpersonal, problem-solving, interviewing, teamwork, organizational, analytical, empathetic, communication, calm-response, and decision-making abilities • Valid driver’s license and ability to rent and drive a car and travel on public conveyances when required • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen • Ability to work in settings with infectious diseases • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities • Ability to walk and stand for long periods, walk lengthy distances, lift, climb, stoop, push, and pull • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and transport luggage and a computer during multiple-day travel • Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel • Ability to maneuver through airport settings and meet all other travel requirements • Immigration-related employment benefits, including visa sponsorship, are not available • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field; CHFM, CHSP, or CHOP; NIAHO Standards Application; ISO 9001 experience; auditor experience; facilities management experience; Life Safety Code/NFPA knowledge; medical equipment/clinical engineering experience; infection prevention experience; behavioral health experience
