📋 Description

• Translate Gainbridge's strategy into a prioritized portfolio of problems to solve with data, analytics, and AI • Decide which opportunities are worth pursuing and separate structural opportunities from quick-win noise • Turn data and models into narratives that change specific business decisions • Serve as the point of insight for Gainbridge leadership and challenge strategy when data contradicts it • Drive insights into actual workflows and decision points • Own insight adoption and build data literacy so insights are trusted and used • Shape and qualify the domain's AI agenda and represent Gainbridge in AI capability governance • Co-own use cases with the data and engineering team, framing the problem and owning the outcome while the team owns production • Hold the demand gate for the domain and qualify work before it enters the build queue • Exercise acceptance authority over completed work and use the formal escalation path when delivered insight is not acted on • Measure success through changed decisions, realized business outcomes, problem prioritization, insight adoption, and partnership health

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of a direct-to-consumer financial services business, including its growth model, customer funnel, and key business decisions • Roughly a decade leading data or insight work with measurable business impact, in analytics, consulting, or a data-heavy domain role • Credibility to influence senior decision-makers • Ability to interrogate data and models critically and interpret them soundly without needing to build them yourself • Ability to turn analysis into decisions and earn the trust of senior stakeholders • Comfort holding a point of view, including an unpopular one • Fluency in applied AI, including what AI and agentic capability can and cannot do and where it is worth applying • Partnership-oriented approach and ability to frame problems well • Judgment to distinguish structural opportunities from quick-win distractions and prioritize accordingly
