📋 Description

• Map and diagnose operational processes using value-stream and process mapping • Identify waste, rework loops, and process failure points • Run structured improvement initiatives using DMAIC or equivalent methods • Redesign processes to be faster, cleaner, more reliable, and more efficient • Pull and analyze operational data to locate problems, size them, and measure improvement results • Partner with the operations data product owner on trusted operational measures • Own the process-improvement portfolio, sequence work, maintain priorities, and represent operations to delivery teams • Design to-be processes and solution designs for system enhancements, platform integrations, and automation • Write clear requirements and partner with internal engineering, DSS, and vendor delivery teams • Collaborate with IT, Distribution, Compliance, Product, Audit, operational leadership, front-line leaders, quality, and process-improvement teams • Help keep procedures effective, streamlined, and simple

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in process engineering, continuous improvement, or a data-heavy process-analyst role • Track record of measurably improving processes in cycle time, rework, quality, or cost • Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry highly desired • Lean / Six Sigma discipline • Green Belt minimum; Black Belt a plus • Comfortable running DMAIC and standard process-mapping methods • Strong data analysis experience, including pulling, interrogating, and interpreting operational data • Ability to design to-be processes and supporting systems or automation • Ability to write clear requirements and partner with delivery teams • Product-owner skills, including prioritizing and sequencing work and holding a backlog • Understanding of operations processes and projects • Ability to work across operations, engineering, vendors, and leadership • Contact-center / customer-operations process experience preferred • Familiarity with automation and AI to reduce process work preferred • Prior experience with BI tooling, Visio, or Lucidchart preferred • SQL or a BI tool experience preferred but not required • Curiosity about operational processes and discrepancies • Empathy for teams whose work is being changed • Ability to give and receive feedback • Flexibility when priorities shift • Resilience, calmness, and a good-humored attitude
