📋 Description

• Own technical production for retail and packaging, including dielines, print-ready files, and vendor specs • Adapt approved retail concepts across formats, retailers, and sizes • Catch layout issues before designs go to print • Build and maintain production systems, including templates, specs, and file organization • Serve as a go-to person for print vendors regarding materials, tolerances, and print methods • Support cross-functional partners on print production and resolve technical questions • Drive projects forward • Provide backup production support for retail and DTC packaging • Build quality checks that catch problems before they reach shelves

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a production artist in packaging, print, retail, visual merchandising, or a similar field • Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop • Experience managing high-volume production across multiple SKUs, formats, retailers, and versions • Clear communication with designers, vendors, printers, and internal teams • Good eye for spacing, typography, and hierarchy • Exceptional proofreading skills and strong attention to minor alignment, copy, or structural discrepancies • Understanding of color management techniques for maintaining color consistency during print production • Ability to ask questions instead of guessing and investigate unknowns • Ability to find workarounds when vendors or specifications present obstacles • Ability to work quickly without losing precision on tight timelines • Ownership of naming, file structure, tracking, and other production systems • Figma and 3D rendering tools such as SketchUp are a plus • Experience with print vendors or flexographic, digital, offset, or lithographic printing is a bonus
