• Serve as the primary liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations teams and the assigned client • Proactively oversee the Revenue Cycle process and maintain client relationships and strategies • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s Revenue Cycle to ensure KPIs and quality measures are met • Supervise assigned Revenue Cycle leaders at the CBO and/or client site • Monitor compliance with state and federal laws, guidelines, and client policies • Identify revenue cycle improvement opportunities and develop and execute improvement plans • Lead multidisciplinary teams integrating solutions and services • Direct implementation projects and liaise with client project directors • Build and maintain relationships with key clients • Collaborate with implementation and development teams to enhance service delivery • Maintain the governance model and meeting structure • Provide reports and statistical/analytical information for management and clients • Process month-end reports for Guidehouse and the client • Review adjustments and approve requests • Analyze accounts receivable, including bad debt, aging, cash collections, payer realization rates, credit balances, denial trending, and fatal denials • Monitor unbilled inventory and work with the client and Service Center to meet targets • Research and resolve denials with Service Center teams and the client • Provide monthly performance analysis and context • Develop and implement plans to improve billing performance • Conduct underpayment analysis with the Managed Care Department • Attend and participate in client meetings, committees, and task forces • Hire, review, discipline, and separate staff • Monitor and report daily/monthly productivity and quality • Ensure team member compliance with Guidehouse and client policies and procedures • Compile team member timesheets for payroll processing and monitor time-off requests • Fill in for Project Supervisors as needed
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience • Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or an advanced degree • Relevant experience in a healthcare provider, payor, CBO, business office environment, or outsourcing company • Minimum of two years of people leadership experience • Leadership experience in a healthcare organization, preferably including a Physician/Faculty Practice • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare access management, billing, finance, and accounting principles • Comprehensive knowledge of physician revenue cycle and related metrics and KPIs • PC skills in a Windows environment • Proficiency with Word and Excel • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously • Strategic planning, management, and implementation skills • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with senior management • Leadership skills to drive change throughout complex organizations • Ability to initiate and complete projects independently with minimal supervision • Up to 10% travel • No security clearance required
