📋 Description

• Complete denial follow-up and reporting with claim understanding • Prepare reporting to identify trends and provide account guidance through team education • Review denial CARC codes and present denials with an education focus • Train new and current team members on denial follow-up processes • Facilitate resolution by referring matters to appropriate subject matter experts • Escalate matters to supervisors and request information or take action to resolve issues • Perform varied duties across changing tasks efficiently • Communicate issues to management in a timely manner • Communicate with organizational departments to ensure proper handling of patient accounts • Resubmit corrected claims and required supporting documentation • Perform other duties assigned by direct supervisors

🎯 Requirements

• HS Diploma/ GED OR 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of education • 3+ Years of working experience in medical specialty billing • Strong Claims Understanding - Clean Claim, UB 04 Format, 1500 Format • Strong 835 Remittance Understanding • Working Experience of CARC Codes • Ability to prepare training documentation & presentation skills • Professional client engagement experience • Ability to interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts • Effective and efficient problem solving • HIPAA Knowledge • Strong Lines of Communication • Self-Motivated to gain knowledge of processes and denials reporting • Microsoft Office Knowledge • Ability to Communicate in Group Setting with Professional Leadership Communication • Time Management Skills • Organizational Skills
