📋 Description

• Lead quality engineering for assigned applications, platforms, and initiatives • Establish test strategies, quality standards, testing approaches, automation objectives, and release-readiness criteria • Architect, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-scale automated testing frameworks • Design reusable automation for functional, API, integration, regression, UI, database, and end-to-end testing • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows • Develop test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation • Review requirements and architecture to ensure test coverage and traceability • Execute and oversee functional, integration, performance, regression, system, user acceptance, and release validation testing • Lead defect triage, quality reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective-action verification • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, architecture discussions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, business analysts, DevOps teams, and stakeholders • Support continuous integration, continuous delivery, deployment quality, release automation, and environment stability • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level QA engineers and automation specialists • Conduct peer reviews and lead process-improvement and innovation initiatives • Communicate testing status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations • Improve automation coverage, execution speed, reliability, reporting, defect leakage, and production quality metrics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; equivalent combination of education and four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree • U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance • Seven years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering • Minimum five years designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and solutions • Experience leading testing efforts on large-scale enterprise applications • Experience operating within Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable delivery frameworks • Experience supporting CI/CD and DevSecOps environments • Expertise in test automation architecture and framework design; functional, integration, regression, system, API, database, and end-to-end testing; quality engineering methodologies; defect lifecycle management; root cause analysis; test strategy; risk-based testing; continuous integration/testing; enterprise SDLC and release management; quality metrics and governance • Strong experience with Java or equivalent object-oriented programming languages • Experience with automation framework development and maintenance • Experience with TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, Selenium, Katalon, or equivalent testing technologies • SQL and database validation techniques • Source control platforms such as Git • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage multiple priorities • Nice-to-have experience includes BDD, TDD, contract testing, service virtualization, AI-assisted testing, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems, microservices, serverless/API-first applications, security testing, OWASP, performance testing, observability, SRE, insurance, and listed certifications
