📋 Description

• Set direction and develop a small IT team while remaining approximately 75% hands-on and 25% managerial • Administer Entra ID, including application integrations, SAML/SCIM configuration, lifecycle rules, authentication policies, MFA, access groups, and privileged access management • Execute quarterly user access reviews and document access removals • Own Intune MDM across macOS and Windows devices • Maintain endpoint security baselines, EDR deployment and coverage, patching, encryption, firewall, and update policies • Manage device procurement, imaging, shipping, asset tracking, inventory, returns, and lost or stolen device response • Manage onboarding, role changes, transfers, and same-day offboarding across systems • Operate Jira Service Management queues, SLAs, categories, routing, and escalations • Maintain the internal knowledge base and self-service documentation • Report ticket metrics and eliminate recurring support requests • Run new-hire IT orientation and tooling training • Maintain the SaaS inventory, administer applications, optimize licenses, manage renewals, and detect shadow IT • Manage office networking, VPN or zero-trust access, DNS, email security, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity • Automate provisioning, deprovisioning, evidence collection, and reporting; integrate IdP, MDM, HRIS, and ticketing systems • Own the IT control domain for SOC 2, including policies, control operation, evidence, auditor responses, remediation, and Scrut administration • Hire and develop the IT team, manage budget and vendors, partner with Engineering, support Sales and Legal, and report IT health and compliance to the SVP of Customer Operations

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in IT • 2+ years leading a team or function while remaining hands-on • Deep, current administration experience with a modern IdP, MDM, and SaaS stack • Demonstrated ownership of IT controls in a SOC 2 environment, including access reviews, evidence production, and auditor responses • Strong endpoint security, IAM, and lifecycle management fundamentals • Scripting ability for automating provisioning and evidence collection • Comfort operating without a large team and building scalable processes • Clear communication across engineers, executives, and auditors • B2B SaaS experience through a growth stage preferred • Compliance automation platform administration (Vanta, Scrut, Secureframe) preferred • Exposure to SOC, ISO 27001, GDPR, FedRAMP or CCPA preferred • Cloud IAM familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure) preferred • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent certifications preferred
