📋 Description

• Perform routine financial processes and transactions for the Corporation • Apply basic financial and accounting principles to identify and accurately enter financial information • Support operational functions for H&R Block Financial Services products, including Emerald Prepaid MasterCard, Spruce, Refund Transfer, Emerald Advance Loan, Refund Advance, and Savings • Research and respond to inquiries from internal departments and external clients escalated through the Client Service Organization • Use cross-functional tools and resources to improve operating efficiencies, documentation, and planning • Process financial information, incoming ACH deposits, exception reports, and account maintenance requests • Balance and reconcile daily general ledger financial transactions • Interpret client needs and resolve issues using training, standard operating procedures, and systems • Research customer requests and contact clients directly with resolutions when necessary • Validate financial-system data accuracy and resolve discrepancies, exception items, and unmatched reconciliation items • Execute established procedures within service-level agreements • Gather, summarize, research, and analyze data to resolve discrepancies and client inquiries • Create and maintain standard operating procedures • Provide operational support and empathetic customer service for escalated client issues • Obtain, research, and process confidential and legal information • Participate in developing, improving, and implementing current and new financial processes

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • College degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience • Basic Excel knowledge • Ability to work independently and maintain sensitive and confidential information • Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data into a useful format • Working knowledge of banking processes and regulations • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Ability to learn web-based systems and navigate multiple systems simultaneously • Experience with SQL • Ability to navigate the Internet
