📋 Description

• Support Velocio managers by summarizing, presenting, and advising on financial aspects • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights to inform decisions, improve performance, and drive profitability • Partner with company managers on Loan Originator recruiting through financial modeling, market assessment, and compensation advice • Provide insight into long-term profitability and capture potential for sustainable recruiting decisions • Manage company compensation agreements, salary or base cost-center changes, and monthly commission, incentive, and override reports • Model branches to advise on profitability dynamics and coordinate product margins and commission rates by market • Design, implement, and maintain financial reporting tools and dashboards • Prepare accurate financial reporting and KPIs for compensation purposes • Represent CHL for 10+ builder-division joint ventures and present financial reporting and support • Lead annual budgeting and mid-year forecasting with senior management and joint-venture shareholders • Provide ad hoc analyses and reports for emerging management needs • Serve as Velocio’s primary financial strategist by evaluating results, operations, compensation, staffing, pricing, and market trends • Present recommendations to executive leadership and builder partners and drive approved initiatives • Improve enterprise-wide KPI reporting, financial dashboards, and performance scorecards • Serve as senior finance liaison across production, operations, capital markets, accounting, and executive leadership • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of technology, both theory and practice • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel • Superior analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Knowledge of the mortgage industry and mortgage-related financial concepts • 7+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis • 7+ years of experience in mortgage sales, secondary markets, and financial modeling
