📋 Description

• Perform financial analysis needed to make credit decisions on new and existing business • Support the commercial banking team and recommend credit solutions that add value to customers • Manage a designated portfolio of Middle Market commercial loans • Ensure compliance with loan agreements, regulatory requirements, underwriting policies, and risk-rating policies • Oversee the overall risk profile of a Middle Market portfolio and identify macro and micro risk issues early • Hire talent, set goals, develop staff, manage employee performance and compensation decisions, promote teamwork, and handle disciplinary actions • Manage complex credit activities, underwriting quality, and analytical support and workflow production • Work on larger, complex Middle Market and highly specialized lending deals • Lead or manage commercial and credit-related initiatives • Advise business lines on credit issues, processes, and procedures • Serve as a resource for business lines and work with senior management on issues, expectations, and timelines • Partner with Lending/Credit Officers to address internal and external audit or examiner exceptions • Coordinate with Relationship Managers on routine financial analyses and credit investigations • Communicate credit decisions to Relationship Managers • Manage departmental workflow and adherence to policy • Participate in organizational cost-benefit analysis and implementation • Create and maintain quantifiable service-level standards • Ensure timely information and efficient processes and workflows • Maintain confidentiality of credit and customer information

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree required • 10+ years of related experience required • Strong understanding of commercial business development techniques and credit decisions • Demonstrated credit and financial analysis skills • Working knowledge of capital markets is a plus • Refined negotiation skills • Verbal and written communication skills • PC skills • Ability to perform continuous sedentary work, multitasking, office equipment operation, concentration, reading, writing, comprehension, and basic arithmetic • Occasional domestic travel required • Must maintain confidentiality of credit and customer information
