📋 Description

• Design end-to-end user experiences for responsive web products and workflows • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow designers throughout the product development lifecycle • Develop and test prototypes to validate ideas and gather customer feedback • Conduct and participate in user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and concept validation • Translate customer needs, business goals, and research insights into effective product experiences • Contribute to and evolve the team's design system and design practices • Use modern design and prototyping tools, including AI-assisted workflows where appropriate • Present design solutions and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders • Continuously improve experiences through experimentation, iteration, and product learnings • Help shape intuitive digital experiences for H&R Block's tax and financial products from concept through delivery • Contribute to product strategy and influence design practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of experience designing end-to-end digital product experiences for responsive web applications • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, and product thinking • Experience partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions from concept through launch • Experience creating, testing, and refining prototypes based on customer feedback, experimentation, and product outcomes • Strong communication skills • Comfort working independently in ambiguous environments • Commitment to accessibility and usability best practices • Experience planning and conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and other discovery methods • Ability to incorporate quantitative and qualitative insights to identify opportunities and improve customer experiences • Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes and partnering closely with engineers through implementation • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, emerging design technologies, and designing AI-powered or automation-driven experiences • Experience contributing to or working within an enterprise design system, including components, patterns, and documentation • Strong visual design skills • Experience designing products in financial services, fintech, tax, or other regulated industries • Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive customer experiences
