📋 Description

• Produce project deliverables including process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, material balances, process calculations, utility summaries, timelines, simulations, equipment lists, equipment data sheets and specifications, and instrument data sheets and specifications • Work with clients, contractors, project managers, and engineering disciplines to ensure effective, comprehensive, reasonable, and obtainable project execution plans • Develop process simulation models for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities • Size and specify equipment, including PSVs and instrumentation, for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities • Develop block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams • Troubleshoot existing operational issues with operations teams • Perform feasibility studies including process design evaluation, cost estimating, and economic analysis • Participate in PSM activities, maintain facility drawings, and resolve PHA action items • Lead process design for midstream facility and pipeline projects • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring for process designs while supporting the Process Engineering Director • Assume leadership of project teams as lead engineer and coordinate project design aspects • Maintain understanding of departmental design standards, applicable engineering codes, and Halker guidelines and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Process Engineering • High proficiency in process simulation software such as HYSY, ProMax, and VMGSim • Understanding of departmental design standards, applicable engineering codes, and Halker’s guidelines and standards
